Currently a Color, Textile, and Concept Designer at Patagonia, I get to combine my educational background in materials and professional background in color, to design a wide range of new products, evolving season after season. Embracing a good challenge, consistently redesigning a classic silhouettes has pushed me as a designer to explore deeper into detailing possibilities. Nevermind, the joy of designing product for some of my favorite activities like skiing, biking, and hiking.

Following my passion for protecting our planet, in recent years, I completed a Master of Sustainability Certificate from Harvard, in an effort to achieve my goal of designing for true sustainability. I have been known both in University and in my workplaces to be a sustainability advocate, as it has always been a focus of mine and I am now looking forward to continuing meaningful action in this space. 

Being from New England, I have evolved a deep admiration for not only all seasons, but embracing all elements as well. I am my truest self out in nature and love to be deeply immersed in an environment - even if I’m on the brink of freezing. These experiences fuel my creativity by engulfing me in the present moment, allowing me to dial in on inspirational points of color, texture, structure, dynamic environmental systems, and more.  

Empowered by numerous solo-travel adventures, most recently having traveled the country alone in my 4runner for over year, I’m able to embrace my self-reliance in my design work. However, I enjoy the opportunity of getting to work with multiple teams, especially in the space creative problem solving. This has been especially important on the topic of sustainability as there are such dynamic factors to consider in this space. Captured best by activist Mary Annaise Heglar, “The thing about climate is that you can either be overwhelmed by the complexity of the problem or fall in love with the creativity of the solutions,” I am driven by the creativity of the solutions while understanding that this work is achievable together through meaningful design.
